Our hobby barn is filled
with a fascinating variety of interests for young and old alike.

This unique train display originally belonged to Nancy's uncle, Roy Kemmerer,
who built a complete model village during the 1930s and early 1940s.
Each house is a replica
of a house, Kemmerer and his wife, lived in. After
his death, Kemmerer's widow gave the train set and village to our son,
Tim, who in-turn gave it to his son Nathan.
Today the train continues to chug through ice skaters and sledders, barnyards
and animals and roads and vintage autombiles, all sparkling with a dusting
of snow. |

We have a shop full of gifts, ornaments, and hand-crafted products, including
lavender harvested at our farm (the Helvetia
Lavender Farm) in the summer. |
